Participate in Audio Research for Visual Impairments

The IMT (Interactive and Media Technologies) and the ViR.AL (Virtual Reality and Assisted Living) research groups are involved in projects on the development of tools and applications for visually impaired individuals, in collaboration with VISTA (www.vistablind.org.uk), a charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of people with sight loss in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We are currently looking for students interested in getting involved in these projects, including audio/music aspects. If you believe you are interested, or simply want to know more about this, please contact Lorenzo Picinali (lpicinali@dmu.ac.uk).
